Took the Reef Racer at the local pond for a late Sunday afternoon cruise. Impressive maneuverability but could use a bit more speed......Let me know what you think.
Sorry, this is a Flash movie. - You don't have flash installed.
Sweet boat, very quick, tight turn circle. Is that powered by a 540 or a 380 motor, or something else?- Also what happens when you run out of juice, you get wet, or you just make sure it comes in before battery dies?
nice video.
thank you for the nice comments. It is a fast boat for its size, but you always want MORE speed. it is actually a 380 size motor and it has a very neat water cooled system which is a silicone tube wrapped around it connected to a pipe UNDER the boat that scoops up the water at high speed and it runs around the motor. At high speed you have a little squirt of water coming out of the side where it evacuates. Battery doesn't just *DIE* suddenly. It slows down progressively kind of like an electric RC car and you just know when to bring it in. it usually has enough power to bring it back home no matter what because it is very small and light. Highly recommended for the price it sells.

Neil- wasnt sure if you knew, as i left you a comment and cant see it!
Very cool mini SeaDoo you have there. I expect to see you offering rides to the local squirrels soon and you get the bigger motor and battery pack. I like it, looks like some fun.
yeah...I don't know why the squirrels don't jump on it when I slow down to give them a ride
I doooo need more speed though but hobbicraft does not sell upgrades, only spares. I am worried that the ESC would fry if i drop in a better motor. Any suggestions?
