A short preview of my modified vintage Robbe Prinzess (Novak 5,5 Brushless GTB system).
Still, I got some calibration to do...it's not stable at high speeds...when I got it figured out, I'll post the final vid. For now: enjoy!

Sorry, this is a Flash movie. - You don't have flash installed.

I was thinking how to nicely say it goes slower than I thought it would but then... WOW that front end gets real high!

SWEET boat mate!

while I was watching the first 2 third of the video, I thought 'this is stupidly slow, what's the point'.

And then, the boat entered hyper-space at light speed.

Can't wait for the next one

Goes like a rocket!! As you would expect from brushless. Adjusting the motor trim (angle between the motor and the hull) should solve the dancing at high speed. 1:1 outboard boats usually have a motorised trim adjustment. A shim or 2 between the hull and motor mount would change the angle and get the waterscrew deeper into the water.

Nice Prinzess! I had one 10yrs ago and after modified motors burned out that plastic outboard, I put a K&B 3.5cc (.21) Nitro outboard on it. It was ridiculous and I'll never know how fast it could have went, too unstable LOL. I flipped it several times and had to swim for it.
