For those that wanted to know, a quick vid on the benefit of dig on a crawler
The truck is fitted with an RC4WD R2D gearbox, which allows the driver to disconnect and/or lock the rear axle.

Very impressive, it works a treat. Is it so good that it might lead to a new class or a change in regulations
time will tell. For now it looks like a must have for competitive events !

I just use the Rooster Crawler ESC which automatically sets brakes when no throttle is applied. It works great! But that is quite a neat feature!

cool, video, i liked the way you filmed it. Why do you want to lock the back axle ?(sorry i dont run crawlers, so please excuse the ignorance)- the truck looks like its paraplegic.

Also handy for dropping off ledges with a degree of control (but didn't have a ledge, not allowed to bring rocks home
