Very Nice chris, now I saw those bars get practically ripped off at Clumber on sunday, and seeing as they belong to the Kyosho Truck I bought off you there... any chance I could have them so I can put them back where they belong...... just thought I'd be cheeky and ask ;)

Thanks for doing them pic of the car bottom for me ;) they have modified the underside and battery fitting of the car quite a bit from the earlier Bandai and Monogram versions, but it makes for easier battery changes ;)

The Academy Road Runner and RR II are poor quality re-hashes of the old World Engines Rockbuster kit, so you are right in saying that the body looks similar to the RB cos it's the same one, I'm not too sure about that strange rear bumper/skidplate thingy though :S

That looks pretty sweet now :) glad to see that Pathfinder rear wheel carrier in place :) I didn't need it as it was extra spares, so it went to someone who could make better use of it :)

You reflect my thoughts exactly, I'd like to think that Tamiya will salvage something from this project car, but after this I fear they will never make another proper 'KIT' buggy again and instead simply churn out RTR QD toys instead :S

The Scorcher bodies only come in white and Black (Blitzer) plastic, you have to paint them to get them Blue and white

Your right there Mack ;) the Buffalo does have threaded adjusters on the shocks, the previous 2WD model (Sidewinder) had them on as well and that dates from the mid eighties :)

It must have been cancelled due to a licencing despute as is so often the case :S why did they not just restyle the body a bit and give it a different name and then relase it to fill in the gap? oh well at least it has the 58306 Neo Shot for company now :( (sniff)

Yes that is a Kyosho Super Alta type chassis you have there, I have one too, but not quite so good as this, I have no need of mine and would gladly sell it for spares at a very cheap price :)
