Yes the decals are difficult, maybe because this was an original body with original decals. I have a replica body with repro stickers & that was a little easier. I think Tamiya perfected the vintage Hot Shot chassis with this model.

I have no access to the forum here. I'm very nervous about painting the cover especially with no film on the outside. Any suggestions or links would be appreciated.

Yeah something like that. I think the original decals are thinner & tear easily, they are so long to line up, I'd like to say its symmetrical on both sides but i'm sure its slightly out.

I put my keen hawk cover on it whenever she walked into my model room. When built I pretended it was my DF-03. I don't know how i'm gonna hide my new sand scorcher when it arrives.

Looks like it was a hopped up Hotshot I from the photos. You'll just have to get your hands on a very rare Supershot roof. There is a bloke on the bay who is reproducing the Supershot pressed parts bag.

That looks fantastic. I think you have just spent the next few pay cheques for me. Having never seen or heard of this brand before i'm very impressed. It reminds me of a TRF501 & a Egress combined. What would one pay for a model like this?

Yes I did in fact build this. Its sitting in my glass cabinet as we speak. I've built so many Hot Shots I could do it with my eyes closed but with this I followed the instructions to the letter. Which reminds me, I should post a pic.
