I think i got the front shock kit from America. It came as a kit with the shocks and shock towers. Im sure it was a company called CRP, i stand to be corrected.

I like the blue and white scheme. Its the colours i fell in love with 30 years ago. Not very original (so im told) but you can't beat the box art colours.

Holiday buggy with fighter buggy wheels. better or worse?
bids32
Thanks for the comments guys. I was thinking about painting the wheels in grey or a flat silver. Does any one know the Tamiya paint code for a decent silver because all the silvers i have are to gliterey (if that makes any sense)? As for the question about running, its defo no RC10B4. I run it at a small golf course which has very short grass and loads of jumps. If your on the power it just understeers its brains out, the front wheels turn but it just carries on going straight. It helps if you dip the brake then turn. Apart from that its a great fun buggy. Mine runs a Superstock TZ motor, a 2S 2600mah 40c lipo, full bearings and the uprated shocks. Ive never run this buggy with the standard 380 motor so the understeer might not be as bad. Pulls good wheelies on my set up though.

It was worth the trip from Blackpool just to see the Lunchbox race. Ive never seen rc cars run so hard, and they all survived. It was a brill weekend and i cant wait for the next one. I will be armed with a lunchbox. Im not missing out on that action again.

Got the wheels from Ebay. Theres loads of people selling them. Just search 'HPI cup racer'. Just be careful when ordering The wheels on the rear are wider than the fronts.
