Ripmax xtra no limit instructions
Bigwheels_inc

This just saved my life - I've lost my instructions, and couldn't figure out how the stupid thing worked on my own...

Cheers for posting this :D

Hanging room only

That's a great idea! That might be easier than putting up all those shelves I'd planned on... although I can't imagine the carnage my TXT would cause if it fell on my TV :o

fantastic pics! great looking model, I've always loved the blackfoot shell, even tho I was never fond of the chassis. The 'polished rim' paint effect on the wheels is good, too :D

It's not vanessa's anymore.......
mr_pushrod

that looks great! That reminds me of the summer of 2005, when I was delivering for Domino's in my Jago Jeep, which looks a little like a Wild Willy. It was painted in matt black, covered in chequerplate, and had 15' wheels with oversize balloon tyres. I just wish it had a Domino's Pizza logo like yours!!

That looks fantastic - beautiful colours, and very well implemented - I wish I could spray like that!

What wheels and tyres are you using?

Very nice job on the shell - looks almost scale! Who makes the shell?

Merc 1850l 1/14 cargo truck

Looks great - I've never built a truck before, but I'm really tempted by one of these just for the building experience.

Turning a mammoth into a monster (part 3)
mymonsterbeetleisbroken

Looks like a fascinating project - do keep us informed with your progress!

BTW, if you can't front-mount the motor, you can always reverse the rotation of the axles by turning them upside down.

G wagon on trail doctor tyres
Bin ^jammin^

Looks very scale - I find most 1.9 tyres look too big for the shell but that car looks almost real

Are those juggy wheels? That pic just made me laugh out loud - that looks awesome :D :D

Do the front wheels steer without fouling the rears? Is the servo linkage strong enough for those big boots, or have you uprated it?

Looks good in black too.

Looks great - hopefully building something like this myself soon! Any pics of it in action?

Cool - very much based on an early Suzuki Katana - I've got a later model (with the pop-up headlight) in my garage ;)

Subaru impreza wrc 2007 - next evolution

I agree - definately time for an updated rally chassis, a TB01 for the modern age - and some good rally shells!

That looks awesome - very good job!

Absolutely 'Vantastic' job there! That's a really good take on the old Lunchbox scheme, very well executed. Top painting sk1lz you have there :)

Stock, built from spare parts
highflyer

That brings back memories - my first Tamiya was a very abused example of a King Cab that I bought from my cousin about 15 years ago... I remember seeing it new and freshly painted just like that, before he ran it in the road and smashed it to pieces...

53221 mini cooper racing sticker set 2
Vin87

One thing you could try is spraying a weak mixture of water and washing up liquid onto the shell before you lay the decal on. This should stop it sticking immediately and allow you to slide it into place. Then push down firmly from the middle outwards (support the roof underneath so you don't buckle it!) to expel the water, then it should stick.

I've never tried this on RCs but it works for applying big decals (like vinyl number plates) to 1:1 cars.

Looks fantastic - glad the soapy water method worked :D

Looks like it's come straight from a Mini Seven race grid :)
