How to just replace tires, not wheels
Ballistic brushless

I just tried this method exactly as described and it melted the wheel! 120C, less than 5 minutes, standard Tamiya 2.2 wheel, electric fan oven - it simply does not work! :-(

How to just replace tires, not wheels
Ballistic brushless

The wheel was 2.2 from a Monster beetle, the oven is a standard kitchen oven by Whirlpool.

Does anyone have a used spare rear wheel for a Monster beetle/Blackfoot? Thanks..

The sand scorcher of the future?

What a brilliant idea and build! I have turned my m04-L to a rally car with the Swift body. It is nice, but yours is much more sophisticated. Can you please provide more details on the parts needed and what to do? Perhaps a short howto? I hope I'm not asking too much but this club is all about sharing ideas and you can be proud of yours.

A little bit of blue....

Wow, amazing! How did you do it? Is this translucent paint? And the wheels? Of course we want a how-to! And an excellent choice of the car too. This is going straight to my favorites if you don't mind...

This is by far the best Land Cruiser paint job on TC. It is simply amazing. How did you come up with the idea? Which colors have you used?

My god what is that weather?! It is 46 Celcius outside my window and the sun is scorching! Nice ambient pictures though, especially #8 with the sub - looks so real and part of the scenery. Cheers

Yup, 20T pinion. And don't think you need all the hop ups to run it at this configuration - a lot of the guys here run it bone stock with an RZ/20T pinion.

Get a manual, and you'll be able to sort it all out. I took mine apart and rebuilt it completly. That would make you sort of an expert... An online manual is available at this great site: http://www.tamiyabase.com/manuals/manual_58016.htm

Amazing idea! Superb work! Very original. How come I didn't think about it... How did you manage to paint the 3 tones like that? I see no evidence of masking.

This madness could only be the fruit of this site, Tamiya Club. Normal people would never understand or appreciate this insanity. Dude, you are building a static model of an RC model. How weird is that?;-) I especially love the Blitzer beetle. Common stop toying with us all and say when you'll be making these available for all the nutters in this site. By making so many so fast you've supplied proof of concept that you can go commercial on these babies... Keep up the good work!
