He..He.. Maybe I should explain a little ?I thought it would be interesting to get the collection out and have a gander at how it was progressing - the bed was the nearest space available !!! Needless to say, they all went back into their 'homes' before bedtime....

Fluid wasn't brake fluid, it was Delta Activator (or eliminator I cantr remember which is which) which is a specialised fluid for removing graffiti - works wonders and doesn't touch the plastic at all, used it ony my sand rover shell and it was fantastic. I know what you mean about brake fluid though - I did try that once in the early days with a prized Hotshot 1 body !!!! it completely knackered it !!!17-Sep-2006

Aha ! I came across this upon rebuilding my Wild One runner. Basically the Wild One and Fox wheels are slightly different. I think you have a set of fox wheels there. All you need to do is get hold of a set of the plastic drive bushes (wheel spacers) from the fox - they fit straight on. Then you can use either wheel !! Try putting out a wanted ad on TC.20-Nov-2006

The body was a cheap copy i think (came with an old second hand astute ebay deal). It didn't feel brittle before the smash !! I used a mixture of Tamiya and Pactra polycarb paints so I did wonder if the two had reacted in some way ? Maybe with some cellotape and duct tape........11-Mar-2007

What can i say ? BRILLIANT photos Chris. Mine is the Hotshot in pics 1,4 and 8. Can beleive how much lean it has on it !! And to answer Crash Cramer's question - if you look carefully you will see an Mtronics Plasma Pro brushless speed controller stuffed in under the roll cage so I left the roof off for cooling !!!!! Great shots, love the Bigwig and will have to get me a Boomer for next year too....14-Apr-2007
