Wild willy 1 m38 clone - made by cheng shing toys
WW-nut

To show the scale of it, I have added another photo. I've also added a movie clip of it in action, take a look in my movie folder.

Where it all started....

Nice collection of WW's; just curious how you did the muddy windscreen and align the wiper blade with the clean section?

Partial new build, paid too much on the bay..
loaded

With such a vast collection I don't know how you manage to get anything done. Though as there are only a few days of 2008 remaining I was wondering if you had managed to finish this - if so can we please see some pictures?

'Paid too much on Ebay', if you say too much it must have been expensive! ;-)

(ww no.2) swb - colour ts28 olive drab 2
WW-nut

Glad you liked it - gave me a good reason to get it out of the attic. If only I had a locked room away from the kids I could appreciate my WW's even more. I'll just have to wait until they leave home (might be a long wait since the youngest is only 2 months old).

No guts ...no glory !!!! 3 speed tower !!!
RENKEN 2000

Looking at that makes me feel nervous and those poor cars at the bottom.

A very nice condition black porsche 934

Why stop at only two, at least you share your cars with others in your showroom. Many collectors unfortunately don't. Keep on buying the things I can't afford (+build some please).

My nib black porsche 934
Hong Kong

Thought these were meant to be rare, but they keep popping up ;-) At least you own 50% of the four on TC.

The new toy
Sayroll

Wheelers are fantastic, wish Tamiya would re-release it. Great bit of painting Cyril, glad you chose to do something rather than box art and agree it looks much better without a bumper :-)

My willy2 to willy 1 convert project.
Herby

Herby - just in case your grill making doesn't end succesfully thought you'd be interested to know that you can buy a WW1 repro grill from www.tamiyaresource.com - not bought one myself so can't comment on it. Hopefully you won't need to buy one, good luck.

Wild willy bodyset

Cheers Paul for adding your WW body parts set, though am concerned you can't find the rest of your WW collection. Not too sure how you can misplace whole cars, maybe a tidy up is needed ;-)

A bit more scale wild willy 2
simensays

It's a shame that Tamiya doesn't standardise its wheel fixings, it would make it a lot easier to replace the wheels. Good work, much prefer the white wheels than the shiny silver on the standard WW2. Have you ever tried fitting WW1 wheels on to a WW2 chassis?

Built from nib (new pics 06/2009)
larbut

Looks great, v.happy that you shared the build with us all. What's next another NIB?

Hornet 2009
tamiyaonebay

'Back fin thingy', do you mean a spoiler? Never understand why they are called that because they usually make the car better looking rather than 'spoil' it's appearance. Sorry v.poor attempt at joke.

Quirky, unusual, wierd, but i like it. detailed description

Can't remember these back when I was a lad, but love the quirkeness of them. Looks like the original owner made a good job of building+painting so good decision leaving as is. Was this Tamiya's only 3 wheeler, can't think of anymore?

Chrome willy tlt
bfst24

You built that quick, it only seemed a couple of weeks ago you were talking about it in the forum. Seems you've caught the WW collective virus, glad its spreading.

Willy without a helmet??
toymkr73

Glad you haven't moved on from WW's, I had thought about sending you a message a couple of months ago with regards creating a Willy without a helmet. You must have super telepathic powers. Hope you can sell some unpainted as my finances unfortunately can't stretch to your latest Wendy's. Keep up the good work.

When mazda met enzo!
rizzo rat

This competition could get expensive....maybe someone should drive over a vintage NIB, any takers?

It was an accident waiting to happen - great video, the cars completely annihilated.
