Bought the body un-stickered & un-painted about a year ago, it is Tamiya but possibly not an original issue. Chassis is the TA03R Pro, (short) with the original Lancia bumper.

chef_bikes
Thanks Chef_bikes, found the RC4WD site for the wheels, no sign of the body/sus lift kit though. Is this scratch built? Thanks for help.

The Bronco looks Rough & Ready, begging to be driven! Is that a XC chassis, the trailing arms look intresting for the rear sus?

Brushless dark impact
Happy Harry
The chassis was nice to put together, very tight fit for the electronics though. Everything had to be side mounted at the moment so going to have a look around for a smaller RX. Have'nt had a chance to test for glitching or range problems with current set up yet.

Speed project
Happy Harry
Thanks guys, Wez-li I have had to cut away the shell slightly on the far side to accomadate the Novak and all it's wiring so yes a new shell may well be needed soon. Snake Plissken, I have managed to already install the Slipper clutch but still trying to find a happy medium for tightness. If i go from half to full throttle suddenly it just spins all four wheels and steps out of line whatever surface she's running on. Any advice welcome on trying to stop this.

I love this lancia
Wyoming
Looks fantastic Seth, I really enjoy running mine and have gone down the same route of keeping an almost stock motor. By the way, did you find the decals hard long decals hard to apply....?

Built for impact
Axxl1
Axxl1, I've had a lot of fun with my DF so far, main things I found with the car straight out the box were chassis flex, this can be resolved witht the alu battery tray from 3Racing. A couple to think about for the future are the sus post, these again have a lot of flex (carbon fibre ones are available) and for the handling, a one way up front. Even in stock form though I enjoyed mine, but soon wanted more! Set up wise, really it's down to your driving and what suits it on this car. Have a play with the sus positions moving them in and out, I placed mine behind the tower instead of the front which seems to give me a better stroke and suits me. Enjoy!

Many thanks for all the positive comments guys, hairyguy4, I will look into the 1.9's I'm thinking they will give a better scale appearance. Once again thank you all.

Lancia f350

Lenhead, the 350 comes with the option of having 4WS meaning the rears will turn opposite to the front, this enables greater manoeuvrability. Be aware though you need a fairly high torque servo to power this.

theRuggedMan
theRuggedMan, I dont know how you can wait till Christmas! I have a spare 350 box if you want to sneak that in whilst you build.....enjoy the build, I think everyone does on these.

All the cars are runners, the Delta is on a TT01 with a Mtroniks Brushless and numerous Tamiya hop-ups, the 037 has a high wind motor in a TA03-S-TRF Specail Chassis mainly to keep the speed(and accidents) down. Once I move the MFU to the back of the truck it will be ran as it's meant too.

Thanks Roadstar79, if I ever see the original 037 up for grabs I will go for it. Seem to be very rare though these days. These all now have a special shelf in my model room with a spot light shinning down, oddly though apart from TC members no-one will ever see them normally! Thanks again.

This looks fantastic, well done on the paint, I know what a pain the 'Martini' lines can be! Turned out very well though and nice to see something a bit different. Well done on your results too!
