Nice look. I too have an old M01 but it's in a bit of a sorry state. Suspension seems to have bottomed out.. too many hours screeming round the car park maybe!

That is gorgeous! Never seen one before. Reminds me of and makes me wonder why Tamiya never did a Mk1 Ford Escort.

Can you tell me where this track is? I'm often up Watford way and would like to see if I could find it. Thanks.

I think on balance I am favouring keeing it 'as is'. Only, maybe thorough clean-up! I have my eyes open for spares - have a lead on a chasis and front tyres. Have just received a NIB rear bumper, but could use some good rear tyres.

@swedishwiking - so this silicone spray. Am I looking for anything in particular? Is this a common product?

Thought that i needed to get a new build on the go

I have added the sealed bearings already and have been amazed by the smoothness of the gearbox and wheels. Really good.

I am having trouble with those pesky decals not staying stuck down properly though - especially around the roll-bars. Knew I should have painted them!

Beatties bag staircase
*Topcat*

I think it was definitely the blue/white combo that came first, followed by the black/yellow. I love these bags and it was the one thing that helped keep my Holiday Buggy safe these past 20 years!

Old and new
Bluefoot

Nice to see this side-by-side comparison. I'm loving Tamiya's commitment to making the newer version as close as possible to the original. Shame about the state of the world with regards logos but that's what 30 years of financial 'progress' gets you. I'm looking forward to the first new built 84057 now! Who will be the first?

Any update on progress with this? I've managed to source a few new parts for my own HB resto - new tyres all round, roof, driver parts, rear bumper, but am still missing the TIME required to sit down, clean it up properly and piece it all together.. all the best.

Black porsche 934

I've got to build a loft conversion first so most likely not! Although nothing is certain in this game.. no doubt I'll find myself with a free weekend, a pair of side cutters and then...

Chasis is looking good! Did you spray paint it? Nice lettering on the tyres. Hoping for the same result on mine.

looks nice, did it take much work to get it back into this condition? Mine is suffering from a bit of 'roof sag' for some reason.. Nice original radio gear too.

Liking the Beatties bag too. I still haven't found anything that I prefer for carrying around my cars!
