Thanks all. I really didn't have an idea of what I wanted to do with this body. I knew I didn't want to use box art, so I just came up with this scheme. As for the rims, they are Superten mesh rims. I use them alot for bodies I want to display as they have a nice design. These were hand painted with Tamiya acrylic paint

Thanks all, the Gulf race theme is one of my favorites as well. I actually have one more set of decals, but I have to come up with something special before using them. As for the wiper blade, it was from a Kyosho McLaren body.

Thanks slimmy, this was one of my all time favorites. It is an HPI body, but the side mirrors are from a Tamiya CLK body, the wiper and scoop are from a Kyosho Mclaren body, and the grill is just wire mesh.

With all the snow we received this year, it presented me with a chance to be a bit more creative with the shots I took. I actually learned one thing about taking pictures in the winter, never do it when it's windy and cold :)

The only regret I have on this one is I wish I would have taken shots in a different location, but over all, I was happy with the way this body turned out.

Thanks for the complements. Most of the bodies I paint, I don't paint them for myself, but more for you all. Meaning those that are fans of RC.

As for the rims, they are actually the same, but I hand painted a few with Tamiya Acrylic paint.

This was probably the hardest body that I have painted. the curves in the body made it hard to mask. But it came out the way I wanted it to. Glad you like it.

I had a friend that did molding work and made the head light buckets for me several years ago. i just never got a chance to use them.

As for the rims and the tires, they were from a Kyosho Super Ten. Well I'm glad you all like the vette.
