The new mazda rx8
dhes2809

Looks good! I think HPI makes the 2nd best bodies of all (the best are from Big T - and this will never change...)

Thank you - painting isn´t so hard, but masking is a torture!

Never give your car to a friend who will modify it his own way ;-)
Pee-Wee

Yes - it is! He promised me to take care about it, but stupidly I told him he can make anything he want....
But who cares - he´s having great fun with that car !

Pee-Wee

Ehm.... no - I wouldn´t say so - he´s just a practical guy who never cares about aesthetic aspects - the stuff has to work, has to be durable and has to be cheap! But it´s better to have a mutant like this that works and someone´s having funwith it than an unused car that´s lying in a box.....

It´s a rollbar. When you jump above a skate-ramp and the car is´ falling on the roof from about 2-3 Meters (concrete surface), this construction will save it from hard damage. Please don´t ask me why to drive a tiny buggy like the GH in conditions like that - I don´t know.....

I haven´t seen it in action, but my friend told me it jumps great, even it´s a little bit on the heavy side with allthis metall bolted on :-)

It´s running, groud clearance is 50mm, and I´m sure it´s more durable than any other Buggy in this price-class. Optical characteristic is another story.....

At last the f350 is here !
freyahel

Great colour! And for the wheels: You´re definitly right - the stock ones are to small !!! You should get some tires with a scale pattern. (Are they 2.2? the Yokohama Geolanders from HPI would look great !)

Custom nismo
tamiyatom

Sadly that HPI has discounted this chassis years ago - I bet this is one of the best TA01/02 HopUps - Would be great for a TA01-Buggy! (OK - The main-driveshaft isn´t the best, but it´s easy to build a custom one out of a carbon- or aluminium-tube...)

Vintage hopup-frog - first impressions
Pee-Wee

Nice idea - but I think 4 wheels give a little more stability ;-)
(the front wheels & tires will be the same as the rears - just narrow)
