What you have their is a Turbo Optima MID, not sure about the added plastic battery tray though. Bring it over on Sunday bud and i'll bring mine over16-May-2008

You lucky man, still restoring mine. Turbo Optima MID is a runner and the Turbo Optima MID SE will be a shelf queen. Definately my favourite buggy of the eighties. Very nice!9-Jul-2008

My favourite all time buggy, nearly finished my Turbo Optima SE. Would love a NIB but never going to happen. Fibre-Lyte have all the measurements for the top and bottom chassis, suspension uprights and motor plates. Your cars look amazing, very jealous!9-Jul-2008

The Mamba is spot on for this car, i bought the 7700kVA system because i am using NIMH cells at the moment. I really want to race the car next year too so i'll be able to tell more when it's on the track.27-Dec-2008

I really want to add a few things to it but at the same time not take it too far away from what it is, if that makes sense? It would look great with carbon chassis, top deck and uprights and a different colour scheme. I'll keep all the bits i take off too10-Nov-2009

Hi HOTSHOT III, thanks for the info. I see your bike mad too, just like me! I have an 04 Fireblade which is locked up until next year.
