Cheers mate. I knew it was old, but didn't dare hope for a MK1. The wings have a genuine aero cross section (tear drop shape) which I've never seen on any other Preds either.

Purplenut, all Bosscat's came with front one-way driveshafts except the basic Sport model. I'm not sure about the Touring car versions though.

Stulec, cheers for the nice words. I guess a Bosscat or CAT 2000 touring would sit well in the collection but I gave up buggy racing about the time Touring conversions were popular, and never got into them.

The ZX-R is the car on the box photo and roughly the differences with the ZX-R mk.2 are: cells moved further back, the front and rear suspension has different geometry, the front track is wider, and the shock towers are different.

I've driven this car a fair bit but race a Yokomo at the moment. I'm not really a Losi fan but this car deserved a special mention in my collection.

Never thought about the headlight stickers until you mentioned them.. for some reason they look worse in the photos than in reality. I looked at the picture on the box of my other Big 6 for help...I wondered why the car looked so realistic then realised Schumacher had used an Elise photograph - Doh!

1992 kyosho lazer zx-r mk.2 runner (standard spec)

They weren't the strongest of 4WD buggies, probably because of all that weight. Apart from the front hingepin braces (my other ZX-R has upgraded alloy ones), the front gearbox always broke where the shock tower bolted to it, and the wishbones were a little brittle. The drivetrain was bullet-proof though. In many ways the ZX-R was the opposite of the Procat I raced before it. Procat = bullet proof suspension but rubbish transmission....
