Nice project! I'm just about starting with my Holiday Buggy. I also need to do something with the scrapes and bumps on my body. Thought about wet-sanding it down and try to polish. I have read that the paint will not stick on the HB body. As you work with this for living, please let me know how it worked. Good luck:-)

Pretty unusual to see one of these as a runner. I just love it! As mentioned before, nice touch with the led lighting. If you paint the wheelnuts in gold, it will probably be msitaken as a real 1: car on the pictures.

I envy all guys that having Sand Scorchers. Isn't it possible to build new rear mounts and fill the holes with putty? Yet, it's not as bad as swedishwiking's bodyshell..it's melted! Someone told him to make a rusty junkyard dog of it. Had been cool:-)

Most if us only dream about just seeing one of these, and now you got two of them! Just checked out your restored Black 934 in your showroom, and it's awesome! Dip this body in brakefluid, and the paint will come off easily...but I-m sure you probably already know that.
