Yes, definitely the lexan body gives to the car a powerful and different aspect. It is difficult to find such part.

Thanks, I really doubt to put it in the showroom but it is so massive..
I could no compare in the 80's as I had no money to get a Land Jump, but once tested my Land Jump it is quite better but much more complicated. The ones who ran races those times could provide us with information...

Well, if not for running again with it I would leave it 4x2. But if you use it, the handling in 4x4 has nothing to see with 4x2.
It is true anyway that I strongly changed the original model and this is controversial.

Great car! I've got one from ebay and I wait for another one to finish mine and make it run. I was to bid on this but the engine (Enya?) is the airplane version, anyway it can be solved easily.
As a suggestion, change rims&tires for modern ones to run with it. Original ones are like stones.

Nice car. I have seen several ones in ebay but not NIB. I use to get such cars for running but it seems too fragile to be driven again.
The tires were used in old Garbo cars like Presto/Boomerang.
Does it have front&rear diff?

I think it was the winner in the 1985 championship or so. The last version had a lexan body as the roll cages were prohibited for safety reasons. The successor was the Garbo Ghibli which reinforced the car by adding aluminium turrets everywhere but the susp. arms were really weak.

Nice Futura. I like vintage SG cars as well, on road specially the ColumbiaMK2/IS4.
That Cipolla Master was my first engine, exactly the Buggy version with bigger cooling head. The SG filter suits perfectly this car. Congrats!!

Thanks. Land Jumps and spares can be still found but for high prices, above 350€. In the States they reach ultrageous prices.

Yes, it's a Prafa, even the engine seems to be the stock Prafa one and the turrets seem to claim for a Monster style body...
