Nice! As for ideas, you can buy carbon fiber tubing which I've always felt would look good on the front suspension against plated parts. Not tried it myself yet, so not sure if the exact sizes are available. Does Rads competition chassis work with the radio box? If not, might be worth asking Loaded (Paul) if he has any Carbon Fiber ones left - I have one from him and they look amazing.

Thanks for the comments guys - yes, the carbon chassis is fantastic - really looks good. Going to pull it all to bits again now and send the alloy parts off to be bead-blasted tomorrow. Have decided to leave them at that and not plate or anodise - I think the matt looks good with just enough bling to say 'custom' without over-doing it. Had a crazy idea for the body today using an old John Lee Hooker picture I have on a waterslide xfer. Has no rightful place on a scorcher whatsoever - wrong period, wrong image, just plain wrong. Which is why I want to do it.... :)

Looks great! What is the nosecone there - repro or Blitzer? Also, how far did you need to move back the front hole - I'm after that measurement!

Hi Volksrod - yes, I have given it another going over since this pic. Although there are some low-spots which are in grey as I took a scalpel to the mould lines, so there's the odd slip in there ;)

Regressing!
Great job - good to see this one finally finished and where it should be (on the beach)! Nice body details - glad you decided against the stickers too - looks very scale as it is in black and without them. Good work!
