We use the Hobbywing 13T brushless in our mini class. Faster than the sports tuned and longer run times. The M03 handles the extra power no probs just need to add the hardened or steel pinion.
Custom tl01 mini
Not realy a glue. Its a product called Plastex. It a combination of a liquid and a powder. Not sure what the liquid is but it melts ABS plastic then you use the powder to fill gaps, more liquid melts the powder into original plastic. Repeat process till you build up your weld. Then it can be sanded flat. Makes a very strong join, I used this stuff for years when I used to work in the automotive industry.
Its buggy time.
The chassis protector is a carbon look stickon vinyl that I use on the bottom of most of my cars. I get it from a local motorbike shop as I also use it to protect parts on my dirtbikes. The stuff is about 1mm thick and if you use a bit of heat when applied sticks like sh#t.
Very hot shot beach action
Awesome beach shots. I want to take my buggies to the beach for a run but am not sure about running them in the salt water.
Mini weapon of choice
Gotta love the MO3's, so much fun to run and even better to race. Nice work I like the blue.
Monster energy buggy
The SV looks great in black. I've been after a spare body for my MS but have been unable to find one.
My new race ride
Mate i'd love to come down for the Mini 50. Could bring my Xpress too for the 4WD class but I will be up the coast with kids on holidays during this time. I will sneak the buggy's into the car for some beach runs up there.
Willy hits the road!
Nice work. The DT02 are a great little buggy
Wow very nice, the colection looks good too. I do believe that is not a ladder holding up the boxes but a measuring bridge from a Caroliner measuring system.
Tanks guys. Super gripper I do plan on racing it when I can the problem is my work roster never seems to line up with our local off road club.
Origineelreclamebord, it will get a sensored system. The only one I got at the moment is a 17.5T system that is in my TRF415MSX which gets raced weekly.
The monster mini shell looks great. Mine is looking very race damaged.
My self made trial track
Now thats what I call a garden. Awsome!
Bought new 1986
Wow, original 1 owner. I bet there's not many of them left around let alone someone who has 2. A very nice pair.
Look what santa's bringing me for christmas!!!
Love the Brat. I have two now, one still half built.
Comp entry - bashing
Nice, I like a photo that is full of action and this comes through with the attitude of the Grasshopper throwing dirt everywhere.
Bashing competition entry
Still the best DT02 I have seen.
Van scorcher part 1
Awsome work, That looks so cool. I'm not sure if you plan on running it but action shots of that on the sand would be unreal.
Wild one accelerating away.
When I'm at work a burnout is defined as 'A sustained loss of traction to one or more of the drive wheels of a motor vehicle' and I can confiscate vehicle for such an act. I've always wanted a Wild One. Due to that picture I may need to do some confiscating, :)
Cr-01 gets a new/old body
I've had a Brat CR-01 (or Mud Blaster 2010 as I call it) for a while now http://www.tamiyaclub.com/showroom_model.asp?cid=103673&sid=29100 . Mine started with a new and nicely pained body but is now looking a bit like yours. I like it much better than the Cruiser body. I surprised Tamiya haven't done this themselves.
New body for cr01
No copyright here, I think the Brat body suits the CR-01 well. There are a few getting around now. I really like Scoobysports scaler, http://www.tamiyaclub.com/showroom_model.asp?cid=108261&id=32283 .
