@RACECRAFTERS Hi Malo, there is realy a special plase in my heart for the FAVs! I have already buy a FAV Runner 2-3 weeks ago and i have complete it last week Sunday, 5 hours before i get this one. As you know i have also my first FAV from 1985 that i am restoring to a shelf queen (civilian FAV version with Wild One parts) So for the moment this one will remain NIB. @Rosey have paid 240 CHF here in Switzerland and thats about GBP 178£

@stickerbod ...no, sadly there are only smal bits left over for the Wild One and new parts are very hard to find. After you buy the last chassis from me two years ago, i never come across again to a new one. So i let go also most of the other parts. Thanks for your comment :)

@all Thank you very much for your empathize. How could i sell it? I had this plans already before i come back in this hobby 3 years ago. I did`nt have any space on my shelf as i had alredy decided to keep my Fast Attack Vehicle that i have since 1985. There is something special when i watch my old FAV and i have many emotional attachments with my FAV. Many childhoud memories. Once in 1990 my FAV accompanied my also at my holidays and i drove at the dunes of the beaches of Korfu / Greece with him. I like also the Wild one, but i buy it in an other era. The handling and road holding was much better due to the wider front axles, the wider wheel diameter, the higher chassis clearance and the 4 oildampers. The FAV is a ugly duckling compared with the Wild One and this circumstance gave me more sympathies for the FAV ..... until i spend over 40 hours only for strip of the color of the driver and repaint it with a lot of passion. This gave it a new identity and wake up my emotions for my Wild One again. Especialy the driver looks very kind to me after the repaint (before there was only a white painted helmet with a red face. When i was packing all for dispatch, i seem to see how sad-eyed and dissapointed the driver sit behind the steering wheel... I am very sorry my Wild One driver for my late recognition. :( I am shure you will be happy again with your new owner. He had make the same mistake like me 20 years ago with his own Wild One. Him was happy like a child as him saw you in a local auction house and told me that him was searching for ages for an other one, but did not remember the model and company name. :-) Its shure that him will never let you go away from him and that you will have a very special place at your now home! :) I will shurely buy one of the re release and paint it again like i had paint you!! :)

White is the new black
Jorisschulte

Hi Loris, i was wondering if you have complete the build you told me 2 years ago and finaly found your very special Wild One. Thats a superb rebuild and i love the white/black colorations. Maybe you have inspired tamiya the re release the FAv with a black roll cage? ;-) Maybe a re release, also with black roll cage Wild One follow to the FAV? :)

@berman Yes, i felt realy guilty when i seem to see how sad-eyed and dissapointed the driver sit behind the steering wheel when i was preparing the package to his new home... My screensaver of my laptop is from the rebuild Wild One that is already gone... and so i can`t waite anymore to a re release one! This one will never leave my home again!! ;-)

Wow, what a find! I have buy the same one some weeks ago on a local auction site. Wich color have the remote controll? Mine has a brown color remote controll. Also the front lights have an other color, are orange. The box looks a little bit different, the remote controll have a retaining bracket. But yours is superb, looks new to me! :)

I have note that mine have a metal front bumper, the decal of the hood are 4 separate decals with the same images, the Martini colours on the front goes till upside of the light (mine is orange) and on the rear goes also a little bit above the rear fender. The remote controll is different. The boxcover is also different. The rest is the same. Do you know something about this variations?

Congratulations to your FAV mate! :)

Would like to see some closer pictures of the rear arms of the original E-Parts. Are this mk1 (with the round stopper) or mk2 (with the oval stopper) E-Parts?
