Yeah, I don't love the color, but thats what I have and I am just happy to be running a fox again.
Brat shelf queen.
Sure, send me your super champ and I would love to.... Just kidding. Superchamp is on my list of must haves. Just haven't found one at the right price.
Just had to have one !
Original hot shot
Thanks crash. I think it looks good too and it is in great condition. Its screaming fast with that aftermarket motor too. But, I don't run it. Got the re-re for that.
Pretty much just for parts.
Thanks crash. I might take you up on that. I need to dig everything out and see what I have... and how much I need. It may not be worth it... who knows. Does the newer body fit on the original willy? If so, I might have to restore it.
My oldest and newest car.
Thanks futureworks for the detail! Much appreciated.
1979 ford f150
I love that body. Good job painting it.
I have seen these TBG bodies before and wondered how they are... have you used them? Are they as good as the originals?
Major project. don't drink & ebay!
Quite possibly the biggest project i will ever take on.
If you need some old radio gear, I have tons. Some sanwa, lots of futaba and at least a few MRC. All stick type tho as I use the pistols
Update 3/07 this is going to take some time, oh well it was worth it
Crash, I know this is old, but if you still need parts, I have tons, but mostly in runner condition, I have used all my nice parts. The things that break a lot (and that I don't have spares of) are the control arms. Watch out for them. If you are going to run this a lot, get every control arm (F and R parts) you see that is a good deal.
Who knows about the wheel change?????
I have a ton of wheels that are definitely originals from the 80s and not one of them have the splines. My original wild ones wheels don't have the splines either. I bet at some point they realized a weakness and changed out the parts to include them for strength. Probably that left wheel was a newer (but official) replacement part, while the right one is an original (from the fox box) or a very early replacement wheel.
Shelf dreams, shelved idea reject
What do you use under the cars to hold them up (besides the mini head chair)?
Latest room for my tamiya as well as ios app development
Absolutely love the display shelves. Did you build them?
Just one, but I have a replacement on the way as we speak.
My wife is gonna kill me...
Thanks Crash, I just found one in my monster beetle spares. All good now. I cleaned the blaster up a little, it looks great. I really love that subaru body. I might have to buy some re-re bodys and put em on other models. Maybe a fox with a subaru body... yeah.
Love the Rothsmans Decals! It would look great next to a 959. You gotta find one.
Its getting crowded in here.
I put big hooks in the wall, then use a paper clip around suspension or steering parts to go on the hook. Works well and no damage so far... Except, don't use srb or runners. Srb's are too heavy and runners leave black marks on the wall then your wife yells at you.
Just finished painting it. Will post pics soon. Made a major mistake....
Fox shelf queen
Ack, I was messing with this and cycling the suspension and the front shotmount just snapped off. WTF. Anyone want to donate a new control arm? I do have spares, so not a huge deal, but my spares are all scratched up.
