I agree with DJTheo- looks like a Mad Max'd Supershot. Mean machine, drinking 7.2's, she can make my motor run! by UK Vintage .....Sorry matey I was editing my own comment and deleted yours instead, If you want to enter it again I'll delete this one.. ;)

Cheers guys :) , I’ve got a thing for white wheels….I hate em. Normally I dye them coz it looks better but these were painted when I got em so I just touched them up a bit.

All plans of modifying this further were put on hold when I found out that the TopForce was being re-released, The TopForce is one of my favorite tamiya kits so I’ll be getting a number of the re-releases and using one as a runner. This kit eventually will be upgraded with a lot of anodized bits but it is now likely that it will be retired early and spend most of its time on the shelf. I painted mine with tamiya PS23 gun metal as it’s the colour of the TopForce Evo.

The doctor says that I’ll recover from the emotional scars left from getting the tires dirty….. I think the medication is also helping. Some idiot had washing up and food stuff all over the kitchen so this was the best I could come up with, I’ll update the pic’s as soon as the kitchen is tidy….. oh god it’s all coming back again … xx(

I have scanned the manual and the engine instruction and have converted them into PDF files, the manual is 4meg and the engine instruction is 800k. I will email these on requests to any Tamiya club member. :)

The mean look was what I was after with my original kit, which is also why I numbered it 666. :)

I’ll try to update the pics soon…..The ESC in the current pics is a homemade job and yes it is shrink wrapped (too big if its in a case.). I dyed the wheels the same way I always do…boil them in water and dye until they are black, the dye I use is Rits dye. Cheers.

Overall I’m very happy with my Hound, it handles well and I haven’t broken anything yet, but it’s only used on track like conditions. It has a habit of catching small rocks under the servo saver which causes the steering to lock up and people seem to complain about the ride height but these are small problems that are easily fixed. I would probably spend a bit extra and go for the Dark Impact if I was to choose now, but it doesn’t come with an ESC so this pushes the price up even more.

Esc & 2 x motor's for mb
Connor

Speedies with three wires are normally forward and brake only “No reverse”, the red wire is positive for both the battery and motor, the black wire is negative for the battery and the blue wire is negative for the motor. I’m sure someone will correct me if I’m wrong as I am assuming that the colour coding for the wires is the same as LRP.

Not 100% sure but in Australia the nitro may have been sold as a Great Vigor GV V2.
