Thanks Barry ,I've put a 550 motor in it came with matching pinion ,I acquired it from Germany there's a company that makes them and the pinion ,didn't cost the earth either!!

Nice job pal looks stunning ,I restored one a few months back it had the old battery tray that holds the c battery's ,it went to a collector in Hong Kong ,but I've got another that needs restoring so not to bad ,keep up the good work!!!!!!

Thanks for all the comments I've decided to go with the side stripes it looks much better and they really match the gold ,I think I'll leave all the other decals off maybe a couple of small ford decals but that would be it !!!!.

Hi there grumpy I did a hilux a couple of months back luckily it was pretty complete!! It needed a front bumper and a lot of tlc but looks stunning now ,I've got a bruiser up for trade if you've got anything to trade!!!!
