Mardave caterham v12
Harkey

It has a slightly shorter Mardave chassis which is just some Alloy, (80 thou T3 I think) it`s fairly narrow and can only take 4 cells across the chassis.
Wheel base is slightly shorter than the M03 by around 1/2'. check out 'www.mardaveracing.com and www.kamtec.co.uk'.

Cheers, it`s only a 3 pot 1.1 engine but when she hits 3500 rpm it has a nice growl due to the variable valve timing, sounds like a 5 or 6 cylinder engine. Body work is very thin though stone chips leave a pockmark.

2011/12 club racer
Harkey

Just started racing this car indoors on carpet, with the rally suspension set high the car pushed the nose initially but it swapped to gentle tail out on exit. Very fast and stable in a straight line, summing up I love driving this car it suits my style, gentle into a corner and lots of welly on the exit.

Hi, the Hop ups you can't see are a Quick Release Battery Holder, Alloy Wheel Hexs, CV axles, Hi Torque Servo Saver and the Suspension Bushing kit.
I'm on the lookout for Hinge pins, Sway Bars and the Alloy steering set, may be some day.

Still going strong

Ran this car again recently. I forgot how slow old servos were and nearly put the car through a wall when reverse was slow to kick in. Was very lucky.

Time for a colour change

I was told to try brake fluid. Left the parts in for a week while on holiday and the paint still didn't come off. Resorted to fine wet or dry paper and lots of soapy water. Respray came out a treat.

Well the M-06R in now built. I have added the alloy motor plates and carbon gear shafts. I initially thought that Tamiya were being cheap as no wheels, tyres or motor was included, they were on the M-05/6 Pro kits, but they do include those lovely alloy shocks and they are not cheap. All in all I'm very happy with the package. I will be spraying a Mazda MX5 shell shortly in Pearl White along with Matt chrome minilites. More pictures when it's finished.
