Tamiya m-03r (mini cooper mki) (2003)
kuruma

Hello, Thank you pininy and Crash Cramer !
I love the M-03 if tomorrow I will have to keep just one RC car it will be a the top of the list. The M-chassis FWD are very funny to drive, with some Hop-Up they have a great comportment ! I've tested a M-05, it is more efficient (out of the box than a standard M-03) but less funny. It's perhaps the more popular Tamiya M-chassis ever made till now !

kuruma

Hello Jim, You are right this Goup C is in a bad state ! I love the 787B too (what a sound !). Like many Tamiya bodies, when they are finished, they are very pleasant to expose.

Hello, Thank you lemonslip :)
Rc cars world is too vast to know all the brand names that would have existed. Unfortunately, a lot of them have disappeared a few time after their creation !

Abc hobby genetic (toyota celica 1600) (2007)
kuruma

Hello Racecrafters.
You are right it is debatable :)
There are a lot of parameters to take into account: The purchase price, the pure performances, the ease of adjustments, the spare parts prices, the ease to find spare parts, ...
The Xray T1M is a wonderfull and performant model but the price of it was very high, the spare parts prices too and they were not easy to find.

Hello, Thank you guys !
The architecure of the Sprint was very futuristic and it's still a nice model to drive !

Tamiya tamtech (porsche 962c) (1986)
kuruma

Hello Crash Cramer :) Yes, you're right but for me that's the more interesting part. With all the models I've yet restore I have developed my skills and my mounting habits. Vintage RC cars are the best way to learn how to make an effective car preparation ! With the time I've more and more tools, more and more products (I'll show them next time). For the price of the tamtech parts, you are right they aren't cheap (unfortunately for me)!

Yokomo yr-f2 (1994)
kuruma

Hello, Thank you guys :) That's right the YR-F2 is very performant (more than a Tamiya FF01 or FF02). Nowadays we are lucky to have access to very efficient FWD cars (Serpent S411 FF, Tamiya FF03, Huge FF12, Sakura FF2014, TOP Racing FD2, ...)
