Xray nt18

Air filter off of the IRC Vulcan 1/16 scale buggy. It's much shorter than the Xray one. It's very fast, had it clocked at 31MPH running on a oval track. Already used up the front tires to almost nothing. It tends to push a little because of the hard front and soft rear foam tires running the road course, but then again, it's totally stock. My friends getting his going soon, I'll try and get video clip of them together.

Thanks, unfortunately my friends shop removed the carpet track we were using, needed the floor space for product. So it hasn't been getting any use lately.

Good choice on the heli. Try replacing the flybar paddles with Align AGNH1220 to make it a little less sensitive. Have fun with it.

Thanks for the comments. . . tried it out today with the Tamiya minis. Need the option springs and sway bar kit, and I broke the steering knuckle. Parts in the US aren't due till late June.

Just finished installing 1/10 sedan TRF shocks on the Cup Racer, fits with minimal mods. Waiting for the Hot Racing aluminum knuckles which should be here Tues.

*Origineel* You're not the first person to say it looks like a pan car. I'll definitly update the pics when it's all together. I had the same thoughts on the short suspension arms, because there's no sway bar option. I have a set of black Tamiya TRF shocks waiting to go on. First race is probably next week as long as I get that new servo case.

Crash Cramer- yeah not many 2wd drive cars came with spike front tires but theres some crp tires that look more like the originals that I might try.

MetBoy- depending on how bad your tires are, you can glue it back together and then soften them like I did.

Thanks Crash Cramer, it was definitely a lot of sanding and polishing involved!
MetBoy-my tires were pretty dried out and rotted, I first cleaned them with Ru glyde (tire mounting and cleaning solution for full size tires) and then glued up all the tears and cracks I could see. Then I used paragon traction compound from my racing days and let that sit for several hours. I put on 2 coats of traction compound and after a couple more hours, I cleaned the tires with soap and water to get all the residue off. Seems to be ok for shelf use and definitely brought some of the softness back to the tires.

Crash Cramer-you may be on to something there but I think the first bulldog with the roll cage body would be better suited. lol
