The biggest gem in my collection
Challenger-RT

I would build it for sure. I couldn't just leave it in the box. My big question would be to run or not.... actually, no question - I would. Probably just indoors or in the dry, but I would have to see how it went etc....

A winter holiday
hot rod

Have you ordered the A parts yet? If not, I have a pack on the way but I just want the driver / interior & a can (for my CC-01) - you can have the roof, roof lights and a can if you want.

Thanks - the basher body is more glue and Shoe Goo than body!

It's my most used car, by far!

Looks really good and finishes the Hornet off nicely. As you say, it's more Bans style.....

The 1:1 (non-Abarth) has plenty of body-roll too, so sounds like it runs realisticly..

You're certainly right about the suspension - not usually a Hornet's strong point! They are about £15 each. Got mine from Argos...

howitzer71 - our track was pretty quick and smooth, which suited the car. The opposition in the 80s wasn't that advanced a lot of the time, but speed cures many problems!

Holiday buggy number 2
OrangeSport

Yes, your vintage HB is fantastic. These 2010 versions look much better in the flesh - they don't seem to photo well. I am sure they would look better with the original wheels though. Good fun to drive...

The box art is great, and I also like the Alitalia 'Hopper body for my Hornet. I have been considering doing a Martini body too - that could look good..

the-way; cheers, I think it's a great colour scheme, which I chose as I have a thing for Italian cars and bikes.

New build - holiday buggy 2010
OrangeSport

Thanks - yes, they get some mixed comments, but I think they look great and are good fun to run. They have loads of tune-up potential too, and the chassis and suspension both seem pretty tough. The only weak spot seems to be the body. My runner has had some hard knocks, but I am still surprised at quite how damaged the body is (especially as Tamiya says it is strong and durable). Very good value for money, fun buggy..
