Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and i think the Manta Ray looks pretty cool, almost sci-fi which was all the thing when it was released. Its the colour contrast of the driver canopy that puts people off - personally i love it.1-Mar-2011

Lol - the first new shell was worse than that when i unpacked it. I too dislike hard shells for painting, but i warmed the paint can in hot water, and warmed the shell with a hairdrier and had no issues this time round (having washed the shell a few times in soapy water) . will get some pics of the finished article up later . @Dam 10 - you could say i wasn't a happy chappy to find a £27 shell split nose to tail :angry:

Took him a while to decide what colour he wanted, other than NOT cherry red. Settled on Fastrax Rally blue in the end as a lot of colours clashed with the decals.30-May-2011
