Thanks, guys! I am very proud of this car and am glad to see it is something to be proud of!
This car has by far the most views in my showroom... I had no idea
Rock crawling at the cottage
Great photos; they do Lake Erie some justice!
Or is it?
That should work out to be a... Thunder... Dragon
936 body on a rm01
Like a 'restomod' ... Love the stance in the 7th picture and the wheel treatment! That is one fine-looking 936!
Astute vintage racer
Fabulous! What does the chassis plate look like?
Subaru impreza ee (extreme edition)
Reminds me of the old Lancia 037 and Tamiya rally cars in concept... They were good-looking like this car, too!
Rico and murph's boomin' rover...
Now THAT is a 'Street Rover!'
Great-looking buggy with awesome details!
Didn't know what it was when i bought it! ages ago!
All the makings of an awesome restoration are in place... Best of luck! Looking forward to the end result!
Avante buggy second chance
Great to see a beautiful Avante; even better to see it in motion!
haha just dropped $45 on new universals, so I seem to have my priorities straight!
Never thought i would find one of these...
The Avante could not accommodate a full MSC setup; Tamiya recommended their CPR units as a result, particularly the CPR-P100F as it was out at the time. Quite a find!
A tornado race master just blew in !!
Great find! I would vote for a build, but if you decide to keep it NIB you can always check out larbut's excellent build thread(!) instead at: http://www.tamiyaclub.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=48655
Now THAT is an outboard engine! A nice example of a very interesting car!
Tamiya underground malaysia
*drool*... The kind of place I thought only existed in dreams! Looks amazing!
58097 : finished at last !
Loving the pink Acto-Power too! A perfect fit for the car in more ways than one...
Astute: a guide based on my experience part 01
Ooh; my 'restoration' just got a bit more expensive... but hopefully a lot more durable. Thanks for sharing!
One sweet-looking ride! The front wing has the 'tea-tray' look, but is far better than the 1970s F1 cars that originally sported them.
Welcome to vintage family ;)
No bonus parts? I thought the black wheels were some of the bonus parts, and I see them there... Whatever the case, have fun with the build; I know you will!
Super shot: from ebay to my project bin
Better than a deep-fryer... A wallet-fryer! haha congrats on the new acquisition; it looks great!
Recent purchased from local hobby shop
Bonus parts are eight 1150 metal bearings, which I do not believe is enough to complete the car. Great-looking find!
