Same as Kozuku's model, these old 1/8 metal construction nitro on road cars are extremely cool!
Tamiya m-chassis racing at southend on sea
I love the wear and tear on this shell; it adds a lot of character! It doesn't try to be pretty or make excuses, it just shows up to do a job winning races.
Open wallet surgery !
Great paint and details!
Final pics rere biltzer beetle
The nose on this Beetle is perfect! Imagine seeing that in your rear view mirror!
Mini - italian job?
Excellent job. I like how you repurposed the Alitalia decals. It all comes together nicely with the lights, exhaust, black fender lips, yellow wheels, and low stance.
My roommate in college had one of these, and we had a lot of fun blasting around the campus lawn with it. Yours looks to be in mint condition. Awesome!
Nib but not for long
I like this chassis kit too. With all the included hopups it makes a great basis for a drifter, rally conversion, or even entry level racer.
Buggy champ (2009)
My wife gave me one of these for Christmas; I'm not sure if I'm going to build it or not. Seems like a nice kit with all the metal parts.
That should be a really fun basher! I have an HPI Blitz and it's a hoot to drive!
Honda cr-v first run with the 1:1 to compare
I love the side-by-side shots; nice work on the model!
Traxxas slash 4x4 #15 'bayer'
Great looking truck! That's a nice color combination.
Former runner bruiser slated to be restored
Painting the rear cap the same color as the body and bed is a huge improvement to me; when the cap is left white it's a real eyesore. Personally I'd probably black out the bumpers and side rails, and then the package would be complete. But the truck as shown here is very nice and the rear cap change is excellent.
Nib factory bodies
Everytime I see a 787B my heart skips a little. It was an awesome car that was outlawed from racing, and the paint scheme is bright and provocative. All the detail work and stitching on the shell could be very time consuming, so it's great you found a factory-finished shell to save a lot of time.
My latest project: f-150
I like the top photograph; it's not obvious what the reflecting surface is and it distorts the truck image very nicely.
Very nice! The Factory Team kit has almost everything you could ask for!
I've stared at Black Hole Sun's Tamiya web site for hours compiling lists of models I would want to own, and the Top Force Evolution is right up there with a few others. It's nice to see one cleaned up and rebuilt.
Chevy s-10 monster ruck
Nice mashup of parts and ideas!
I'm eager to hear more about your experiences with this chassis. Keep us posted!
I enjoy my DF02 a lot for bashing; have fun with yours!
