The Nitro one is a Simprop Hoverstar, I think they were made in Germany, they stopped making them a while ago, this one was in bad shape when I got it off ebay, rebuilt it, popped in a new engine and now she's running and painted. Could do with a new skirt though (if anyone's got one please let me know!) check her out in my showroom under misc runner.10-Nov-2004

It's powered by a little 200? size motor lot smaller than a 540. Not enough room to fit a 540 in unfortunately!11-Feb-2005

Thanks for the link fatboyslim, I might grab another one!!! Lets all get one and dig a hole at kidderminster then we can have on/off water races!!!(just kidding). They are quite easy to convert to 'proper' rc gear, I just popped in a mtronics esc, a reciever and squeezed a standard servo in place of the original one.16-Mar-2005
