This is niiiiiice, you'd be mistaken for thinking it was full scale. I appreciate your comments on my first attempt even more. Thanks for the props.
70's surf trippin..
This is Sweeeeet! I love the details. I thought about doing a 'wound down' window on mine, but didnt have the stones to make a cut without screwing it. Thanks for the props on my Blitzer.
One nearly down one to go
Thanks for the props on my build, I'm glad I'm on the right track. I think my next will be a Scorcher or rough rider. Nice mug BTW, you have taste. :)
Wheels and driver / interior
Thanks again SRB, I'll be honest I was winging it all - s'why there's no pics of the paint process - I just approached it as if it was a real vehicle, at one point the shell was green like the wheels, but under it was 3 types of 'metal' paint over a black primer. lots of rubbing down and finished off with rusty coloured airbrushing.
Mardave apache - update !
This is great, I wanted a Mardave Marauder when I was a kid, this brought back some memories. Thanks for your comments on my Blitzer Beetle, they are appreciated, I can assure you its been run and run ragged, it has some battle scars and after an aborted jump at the local BMX track the skull nosecone has a fracture, nothing I cant fix though.
Rat shot: part 01
I like this Bub, the rat look is rad and you know I love the bare metal thing, I cant wait to see how this turns out. Thanks for the comments on mine, you were very generous with your choice of words, Thanks.
Omg!!! i got a blazer!!!
Thanks for the Props on my build but from the look of your collection I have a long way to go. This Blazer though, kicks ass! the metal diffs and underpinnings, they dont make 'em like this anymore - or do they?
Thanks for your comment K2, quite an endorsement, I must be doing something right. You have some nice cars in your collection, I need to start thinking about my next project.
(the legendary military ace) the fast attack vehicle
Thanks for the comments on my build, I looked in here and saw the F.A.V, this one is rad, I love it. I like the idea of a F.A.V surf patrol Black and White police vehicle... 'to Surf and protect'.
Nice pics and a great location.
Final pics rere biltzer beetle
Skottoman, thanks for the kind words, seeing the comments on here about the nose I think you might be right, it took a bit of time to do though, I suppose I could cast some repro's but I have no idea how. The Santa Cruz sticker came from a Tech Deck toy skateboard pack, I had to put it on there, I have a couple of their decks and the gear shift in my real car has a SlimeBalls skate wheel for a gear knob.
When will abc or hpi release a proper golf mk1? - body sold
Thanks for the props on my Build, I'll put some info on the intro about the paint process etc.
Can I ask where this body is from, my real car is a MK1 Caddy, I want a MK1 golf 1/10th body to convert to a caddy body, should be easy, right? :) lol
Pics are awesome, some look real, I reckon most people would be mistaken. Great work.
Loft find late 70's early 80's acoms ap227
thanks for the tip larbut, thats a helpful site.
Like new :-) (new pics 06/2009)
This is great! Brings back fond memories, My first 'proper' RC was one of these, I wish I knew why I dont have it anymore. Still have the radio gear though.
Blitzer beetle jumps and off road
cheers guys thanks for the comments.
This place is mecca for RC buggies.
A faster motor and better camera skills and I'll try the big jumps, se if I can get some better pics.
My visit to the tamiya showroom in singapore
Dang! if only I'd have seen this a week ago, My girl just got back from Singapore, I could have given her a wishlist!
My latest project: f-150
Personally I like the red wheels on this, The silver is really nice nice but the red wheels mean business. Its like wingtips for the office and red boots for the mud.
Ford f-100 rat rod
This is DOPE!
I love this thing, its right up my straße. I'm pleased for the Dutchman, and secretly jealous too - his 50th birthday was/will be one to remember and one I want to emulate.
Great work and truly inspiring.
Action pics f-100
Pics 2 3 and 4. brilliant, you could be mistaken its real. (and I love the wound down window, a nice touch)
Thanks for the Props on my build. IMHO the silver and black is excellent, this is class, its like yours is the 'taste the difference' premium lunchbox.
(and the black window on the black back door is the cherry on top)
