I've got another lunchbox which is my runner and is currently sporting yellow box art, I think I'm gonna do an A-Team body for that one as I like having a choice!

Twin det runner refurbished
Percymon

Nice to read the history of my Twin Detonator! What I'm finding funny is that I bought it off you on eBay recently before I even found Tamiya Club and here it is. What's even funnier is that I also bought some bits off Dazza1 the other day on eBay too (and he only lives about a mile from my house), small world isn't it?

Always wanted a monster beetle!
SteveU30

Yeah it's in great condition, got the original box, manual and vintage transmitter to go with it too. The shell has been hand painted so I'm going to have to break out the brake fluid.

Great truck for bashing!
SteveU30

I hope so, I did consider the brushless route but I wanted to keep the weight (and cost) down so thought the RZs should work nicely. Will get a video up once it's all running nicely.

Great truck for bashing!
SteveU30

Nope, only 1 NiMh. I think the ride height is down to the shocks that are installed, they are 55mm ones I think and the top spring mounts are wound down on them. Will be fitting the 100mm shock towers along with Traxxas T Maxx shocks soon anyway so that should sort the ride height out.

Street scorcher, part 2

I dunno, for me there's just not enough detail. Only joking, absolutely fabulous mate, loving you work! Am off to your showroom right now.

Just like my old 1:1 cally
SteveU30

I think for now I'll rebuild the chassis first but ultimately yes I'll probably end up getting a new body too as I'd like it to be mint.

Car looks great James, would be nice to hear a post-wedding update with how it went and maybe a couple of pics?

Hopped up lunchbox, soon to be a brushless a-team 'box!
SteveU30

Thanks for the comments chaps, my aim with the FX10 mod was to use as much of the kit as possible as I thought it was a waste otherwise. I made a thread on the forum on how I did it here: http://www.tamiyaclub.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=69782&pid=493136&st=0&#entry493136 although Zac_F84 is sending me the rest of his FX10 kit as I want to do the lower shock mount again. I intend this Lunchbox to be a cumulation of all the best mods that can be done. Like I said, it's going to be a beast!

Great pics! Is everyone forgetting that the Pikes Peak car on Grand Turismo was THE best car to own on the whole game? I think this game was responsible for making the Pikes Peak race famous world wide too!

Rainbow warrior no more !
Percymon

Woot woot! I've just bought this off Percymon and I have to say it's a cracking example of a Clod. It's only going to see light use so it will stay more or less in this condition for ever more!

One of tamiyas finest bodies.

Looks great matey, sorry about the wing mirrors being missing, I didn't even realise they were supposed to be on there.

New runner for the winter
stickerbod

It's a great chassis for sure, seeing them running at Clumber prompted me to whip out my Twin Detonator to join in on the action. We should have a WR/WT chassis rumble at the next meet!

Iconic rally car that looks great in motion (and jumps well too)
SteveU30

Thanks for all the comments chaps, it's a great shot of it in mid air isn't it! I can't remember who took the pic, I think it was one of the IconicRC boys.

Holiday hammers!
SteveU30

Thanks chaps, especially you Rob for the inspiration in the first place and of course the excellently painted Willy. No frills racer is exactly what I was going for too, this is all about go, not show! Kinda the ultimate basher buggy if that makes sense?
