Hello yes I am a Tamiya club member just ;] I had two fighters and my Step son had one as well but with a baby just born and a full Size land Rover just bought to play with some of my collection had to go :[ so my Shelf Queen fighter had to go, hope you enjoy it ;] Andy F.

Megadeth In a way I think its a shame to Run it, I thought it was so nice after it was built, that's why I displayed it, plus having the other Two RF's to run, that's how this one stayed as you received it ,enjoy it what ever you choose to do with it :]

R/CVET thanks for the comment, personally I don't think they need that many modifications to them but it was an exercise in what I wanted my ideal Hornet to look like and run. Im pleased with it and again thanks for the comment ;]

Mongoose, indeed you have, itsa battered this one but that's why I like it, can give it plenty of abuse without fear of ruining it. Great fun to drive on short grass and soft dusty tracks. Cheer matey.

You really do make some great looking Hornets and Grasshoppers, love the fact you have done what ive done on my hornet and added the Super Hornet rear suspension to it, I think it works rather well :] Great collection of Hopper and Hornets matey , top stuff!

Hi taffer: The Blue on is my steps Sons and is totally stock, The Yellow one which is mine has a few upgrades such as an Ansmann clash 21T motor, Ballraces, oil filled shocks, front alloy bumper and alloy servo posts, also changed the wheels for a set of Mad Fighter ones as well. Just want to fit a GHII heavy duty steering kit to it, and maybe the Mad Fighter clear gearbox for something a little different, sometime in nr future. Cheers for your comment, glad you like em ;]

I just posted mine and my step Sons RF's up the other night, we love em and give them a good ole bashing and running about. I agree with R/CVET though because there so much like a super hornet/GHII that's why there so much fun :] really nice example you have there ;]

Singleseven thanks for the comment. I'd love to enter thiis years DT-02 challenge, but sadly I cant this year :[ Im already away at a full size Land Rover show, unless plans change, then I shall there without hesitation, hopefully though it will be a regular yearly run event. JWeston I do love this chassis this was my first DT-02 then I got x2 Super G VR's and I then bought a Holiday Buggy 2010 which im currently finishing off, just needs the body and a set of new oil shocks for it, to be honest it would be my entry for the DT-02 Challenge event if I made it. As its ballraced and has the 3racing front shock tower stiffener fitted. But thanks again JWeston for your comment :]

the-way, thanks for the comment :] it is a really fun chassis and would certainly concider adding one to your collection. I do like the shiny bits too but it would nice if they did them in Red or Purple maybe instead of Blue all the time, but im still happy with it :] The chassis cover is a great bit of kit and was made bu Hunter systems, I think Super-Gripper makes them, deff keeps all the mud and crud out. Cheers again ;]
