Thanks Kev, I want to re-paint and use correct decals but my son loves playing with it, so i went and got the celica gr.b instead. This one has been used by 3 generations of my family and still going strong

Thanks for the nice comments, the painting and decals on this were a nightmare, but very pleased indeed kev, it whistles along with a sport tuned motor and an oiled gearbox (no grease)

Already sold the spares, chassis went to Kev, and bought a celica gr b instead, I run em anyway, better the new parts go to those who appreciate them

New chassis ! I want one But also like the custom mount, already hit it once and the bumper bent up, so I bent it back down, flexi nice. Bearings in oil, then tested for noise and replaced if bad. I paid £66 for 4x tyres (nearly new) and have use half on one pair already !

Added a new image of the custom bumper mount for you Crash, it is a monster beetle under guard (lugs flattened & end bend back 90deg) and sprayed black. I got inspiration from the front stabilizer holders just below it.

I was 9 in 86 and used to get my brother to take me there (Beatties Bristol) most weekends, we didn't have any money, just window shopping and dreaming, always straight upstairs to the good stuff, i.e. Tamiya and Scalextric. Boring static models downstairs. Great memories. How old r u in this shot tech burp ?

No shed, no garage and no spare rooms :-( I live on a canal boat so this is the best location inside that ensures no dust or bits will spoil the paint job. Always sprayed inside, got in trouble many times with the parents back in the day.
