Thanks Mad-Bee, had many many hours of fun running my Sand Rover against my mates Holiday Buggy. The front suspension was a weak point as we both found out. We did the hop up of fitting a aluminium bracket around the rear and fitting Sand Scorcher oil filled shocks. I still have the magazine with the plans for it here😀

Yes they do. This is how the car arrived, I haven't decided exactly what to do to it when I strip it down, clean & rebuild. Keep the body or get a different one?

Until I got this one and the other chassis I hadn't taken notice of Tamiya doing fwd cars. In fact I still haven't looked into bodyshells for them. I know they did a golf, so I may have to source one to see how it sits. Have you any other ideas I can take on board? Anyone? Cheers
