No that is a brushless curtain hehe! I think the beach is pretty much the only safe place to run it on brushless!

If you stay in the dry sand, it's actually really low maintenance. 99.9% of it falls off and it doesn't really have any salt on it to cause issues. The dunes at my local beach are a great place to run for that reason.
If I go on the actual beach, I tend to do it when the tide is all the way out and stick to the firm sand that's only damp. Then when I get home, I let the sand dry and brush it off then just wipe the screw heads etc with a damp cloth then wipe with machine oil on a cloth or a squirt of wd40. Doing this has resulted in only a few tiny bits of rust after years of use, very cheap to replace the affected parts.
I rarely venture into the actual wet sand or water but if I do, I ensure the electronics are waterproofed first and wash the whole thing off with fresh water after the run and then do a strip and rebuild (only takes about an hour with a grasshopper)
Grasshopper is a good beach runner as it's simple to strip if necessary and the transmission is well sealed!
