Fantastic Porsche. I had a Martini Scalextric Porsche in my youth & was my favorite. The strips on them make them look fast when their standing still.

Just about finished a Buggy Champ (that came with a Scorcher body + wheels) myself & cant wait for a trip to the beach with it when it's running.

Funny I happen to noticed a white tyre pen hanging by the cashier at the local Auto shop where I got the paint from, must be a sign :)
Wanting to brighten up the wheels from the standard white, I used humbrol enamel on them. Being 3 pieces made life a little easier. Inside section all silver, middle section red. The outer section I first rubbed faced down on some wet & dry to flatten off the slightly rounded lip. The face of the spokes painted black. the edges of the spokes & in-between the spokes in the rim itself also touched in red as just the middle section wasn't quite strong enough on its own, then the rim silver, finally running a red brush around the outside edge. Phew, a bit of patience required but worth it in the end.

Sure was, I got this about 2 months before the Buggy Champ/ Scorcher that was a deal I couldn't resist :)
I'm still figuring things out on this site is why some of these photo's have doubled up.
I did have an Extreme Blackfoot some 15yrs ago that bought 2nd hand (already built) with a 15 turn double motor in it. That was a lot of fun. A few other guys at the Joinery workshop in Staplehurst Kent UK where I worked then also had some RC's so many a lunch break was spent racing around the carpark and surrounding grounds. Wished I hadn't left it behind now.
