MY GOD!!! This was the first 'real' r/c i got. It was real expensive but i got it for christmas. You can turn the yellow lights on with the controll, and you have three gears. The driver turn his hands then the wheels turns. But i think mine was called XR311, like the Tamiya kit. Please post more pics...

Mine was dirty too when i got it. After a good cleanup it was ok with no broken parts aside from some scruffs on the shell. I guesses he had rolled it a copuple of times. It´s definetly worth the effort to fix it up. It´s such a nice runner and looks great (without the horrible blue paintjob mine has!)
