Actually - it is a runner - I just finished rebuilding it , (with a lot of new parts)!! - I like all my cars to look good. Part of the fun!

LOL - yes the Mitsubishi Pajero, that is the second time I have made that typo !! BAD BOY !! Would have been great to see them all - what a shame it never made it to production ! Thankyou all for your kind comments.

LOL - I thought I might try and remove all the chrome - then paint it with crayons followed by a coat of cling wrap !!

Thanks for the compliments - the car uses a LRP 'runner' speedy - and the 'Dyna Run' motor. The photos are extras left over from the pics used in my R/C Car article.

I have the Blazer Wheels and Tyres ready to go - just been lazy to put them on. The dampers are only there for show at the moment - because I got bored and wanted to see if they would fit!! They will not be on there when I finish the car - as I want it totally original.

LOL - yes - as I mentioned - the body was painted when I got it - I will naturally be stripping down and repainting / decaling. :)

Thats exactly what I meant mate - the detailing on the grill and rear end - basically all of the painted parts other than the lexan body are poorly finished. It wont be to hard to repair - just need to re-decal as you say as well. Thanks inetRC - I think the Asona is just that little more realistic in scale - something 'wrong' with the look of the Audi - still a great peice of kit though.

Thanks guys - I am still a bit stunned to be honest..there is some real history there. Especially the Bolink speedway car - apparently it is THE actual first didplay car used at the display stand in states when it was released to the public - I will get the official word - but it is all very cool.....I race the Kysoho Evolva now - and to compare it to the cars we used to run like the PB7 and the RC300 is breathtaking !

The kits are not easy to find!! There are three cars in the F1 series, there are three in the Group C series and an off roader....The only differences are the decals with the on-roaders. The off roader is very different. I will try and post pics of them later. They are SO COOL! I did a review of them in the R/C Car magazine a few months ago.

To be totally honest - I dont think I could bare to break the blisters on this one. It has gone over 30 years without being built - this is one to be preserved, as it left the factory all those years ago. I will get the re-release eventually, (when I have recovered from paying for this one), and run it.
This one is just to historical like it is.....they're simply cant be whole lot of them left!

The tyres look like Marui Hunter - however I cant quite make out the writing on the sidewalls. does it have good year printed on them?

The Boomerang was by far and away the best handling of the Hot Shot series - especially with the twin front shocks. FANTASTIC job - this is what Tamiyaclub is all about - iginiting the passion we have for these treasures and then sharing with the world - WELL DONE !!
