Tamiya 51585 Raikini GT. Light weight and low center of gravity and not too pricey. I did a quick paint job as experience tells me any car that sees race track time gets mangled up fast enough.

GIve in to the temptation.
Let me add some pics to try to explain better, it is a bit of a hodge podge modifying mostly stock stuff and a coat hanger to make it so it hinges up in the rear and uses the two body clips in lower front.
This was all done years ago, not sure I would do it this way again but it has held up and worked. Everything there was either part of the M04 kit body mounts or part of the original Maisto car with the exception of the bent coat hanger wire.
At the time I wanted it to hinge for easy battery replacment. Today I might just come up with something with some brackets and screws from body to chassis or something. Hope that helps.
How have these RCChannel arms held up to use? Do you put it thru it's paces. I am considering a set for a vintage racer project?
