Great feedback thank you!! Yeah, around 1997 I had to focus on the kids but had some good RC time when they were taking naps as infants. The PC sim Grand Prix Legends in ‘98 then became the easy car fix. Been sim racing ever since and just getting back into RC now that I have more time. Silver lining to COVID is more sim racing and RC time. Haha!

Hey Truck, I built this in 1996 or 97 and I believe the the rear swing arms and dog bones were from the Hummer kit. It’s a TA 02W in some form or another. I think I had to figure it all out because I don’t believe there was a complete kit this wide yet. Either way it’s all Tamiya underneath.

Fully detailed body on a hopped-up tt-01

This blows me away as does all your work! I built this car when it was new and ran it hard. The body is in good shape still so I need to restore it and apply some of your mods. Great job!

Check out my concourse winning F40 LM in my Showroom with the build details. The one pictured here is the sister car that’s a driver. Back in the mid 90’s if you wanted to win the the concourse at Tamiya HQ in Aliso Viejo Ca. you had to race the car. I built two F40 LM’s, one for show and one to race. This is the Tamiya F40 body on a TA 02W Chassis and the body has been customized, with custom Lexan pieces cut from packaging materials, to resemble the F40 LM.
ON THE OTHER F40 LM, The light buckets, mirrors, engine bay and tailpipes are Yokomo. This car is all Tamiya.
