Thanks. I appreciate that. That only part I couldn’t source was the rear shock tower. Mine has fractures around the shock mounting holes so I’ve used epoxy to help keep them together. Hopefully it’ll be alright and if it ever breaks hoping I can print a new one or something.

Finally finished my hs2 restoration

Beautiful! I can’t see any screws or clips holding the rear wing in though.. used another method or perhaps just a trick of the light? Loving the old radio gear. I tried for a while to source a Futaba Magnum Junior like I had way back when but in the end gave up and opted for a modern radio set.

I always go box art, but also try and get a second shell for running which I can paint anyway I want. However with it being in blister packs I'd be tempted to buy a second to build! If money allowed that is. Aaah tough choices! I don't own an Egress yet (with an Avante on back order and a TF Evo just built I'm not sure I can justity the Egress) but I'm not looking forward to this dilemma when/if I do. Anyhow congrats! Can't wait to see what you do.

So I do have a repo shell for it, all blank, no decals yet as all reproduction ones I’ve sourced have flaws (grr).. I’ve just been lazy and not uploaded it yet!

Wasn’t to sure in the blue either but yeah I think it works too. Am tempted to swap the rear knuckles out for ones from the Boomerang but ideally wanted to get alloy ones but can’t find any anywhere.

Hi @BubbaGump365. I have to agree. It’s the most enjoyable build I’ve done to date and I doubt it'll be surpassed for me. Glad I finally got to own one since drooling over it as a kid.

I never liked this car as a kid but it’s grown on me. Definitely thinking of adding it to my own collection. Your build looks great. I like the tinted window. Think it looks much than being clear.

Started painting the shell and it was all going well but then had a drip on the back. Really annoyed with myself for putting a layer on too thick. Could probably get away with it but I decided to strip and start again but had to wait ages to get new paint as it was out of stock. Paint finally arrived but haven’t got around to work on it yet. Been putting it off!
