Great looking model. Wish they made this in an RC version. I like the Redbull F1 paint scheme also, but Williams is a classic brand.

Yes. Was comparison shopping/haggling for tires for my real car while back - price vs brand, etc - and realized had over $2k worth NIB radio control car kits at home in a closet I'd most likely never build and hadn't thought twice about buying... Time to make a change, lol.

Thanks man, you're always highly complimentary and encouraging! I find the good details distract a bit from the bad ones.
Still needs work and hopefully some final coats of laquer spray when finished will help to blend things together.

I recognize that cheap wrapping paper and styrofoam shipping material from RC Jaz. They trashed my Mountain Rider because they don't use cardboard boxes standard. You have to pay for 'extra protection'- at $50 USD additional - to get the thing shipped correctly like the rest of the world. Disgusting.
But glad this one arrived in good shape for you - looks like a great kit!

Thanks Mad-Bee , I found that little booth on Amazon. I find my carpal tunnel from years in the construction industry causes my hands to literally numb up when I'm trying to paint those details - even turning those allen wrenches after a while ... Have to stop and take breaks to let them recover lol .

Thanks Mad! I reworked those hood petals and some other areas as I documented previously and I feel like they came out a little tighter looking this time around, so guess I'm doing something right. The camera shows flaws a lot better than the eye can, so I like to use the pics as a guide. Not sure if I'm going to do the LED lights on this one, but still have to finalize various bits and pieces before I hit it the whole thing with couple coats of lacquer.

Yeah I never could have one as a kid and missed the first time they reissued them. I'm glad I got it. These were cutting edge and the end of Tamiya as a serious buggy competitor once Kyosho started as well.
