I think it might be your old one - we traded a Holiday buggy for this and another car? This one has been to South Australia with us and been used on the local BMX track were we lived.............my son had amazing fun with it and it is still going strong! Cheers,

Oh, forgot to mention that it's made by Yellow Aircraft in the USA. There has been talk of a re-release but that has been going on since 2002 I think.

Hi pilotrcuk, The kit is by EPF hobby and is a foam kit and is very nicely made. It is a very smooth finished compressed foam and does look very nice and easy top get a scale finish. A light covering in fibreglass cloth would really finish it off in my opinion and also make it more tolerant to hanger rash. Cheers!

Hi Metboy, It's around 2 mtrs in length and is pretty big! The Ducted fan is an impeller fan system driven by an ic glow engine. The turbine is a proper miniature jet engine burning kerosene and produces a fair amount more thrust than a DF. Modern Elecetric ducted fan systems are putting out some pretty huge thrust figures now though, due mainly to brushless motor development and ducted fan advances. Cheers!

Hi Troy,

It all depends on the final weight of the model. If I can get 1-1 thrust then I will be happy. I am hoping to get it on or just under 20lbs in weight as I already have a 20lbs thrust turbine ready to use........we will have to see. Cheers, Nigel
