There were a few other vehicles, a road car and a 4x4 if I remember rightly. But also some animals, dinosaurs spring immediately to mind. I am not too sure how many are still available. I will post up to my showroom the elephant, aerial ropeway and the line tracing snail when I get some photos!

I know what you mean about modifying an existing chassis. Everytime I look at the XR311 chassis with it's longitudinal battery and the motor/gearbox arrangment I think about getting my hands on one just to see! Maybe one day.

The lipo / brushless setup is sweet, but when I priced all I needed, I almost fell over. It made the car look cheap, really cheap!

I think you should probably keep it, I guess. There should be plenty of other M-Chassis out there! I am interested to see how you plan to make your Fuchs, I have been wading through RC wheels trying to find something that looks like a Fuch, so I can put a set on my Carson. Do tell!

Thanks, I have been able to find a few issues of Makezine in the past, but I will definitely have to keep my eyes out for issue 14 now, my mag shop only gets a couple in every time, and you have to be quick!

I hope the suspension mods make a difference, the only time I ever ran one was stock with a 540, and I remember it being a bit of a handful!! Though I was never really any good!! Love it, a great find, can't say I have ever seen the Ligier body.

I see what you mean now about the orange being too red. Once you have done the bumpers, roof and skirts though. it will look sweet! And you have me rushing to order some of those wheels/tyres for mine! It just looks brilliant!! Are you going to copy that fantastic looking 5 on the side?
