The only thing missing in order to complete this madness is a original Sand Scorcher Body painted red with Monster Beetle decals.
A crude but cute new built surprise...
Hi Wireless, when you remove the travel restrictors, keep in mind that the front wheels will scrap the body when driving on rough terrain and that the mudgards will soon have a white edge.
Great pics - especially the submarine ;0) ones. You should post some pics of your 'vessel' without the body in order to show us how you protect the RC gear and stuff please.
Exactly my kind of terrain. I will vote for you because especially picture no. 5 is pure fun to look at.
It's a bit sad that not all of them are'nt chrispy sharp, but I know how difficult it is to take some decent action shots. It's good to choose a digicam, but these cams are mostly too slow. I will try to take some action photos with my normal camera soon. Keep up the good 'work'.
mostly the previous owners are even proud of their airbrush desasters. In Germany we have a word for this: 'KITSCH'.
Repaint it asap.
King cab: drift king!
Great pictures. Now that I have a King Cab runner myself, I can evaluate these pictures better. If it weren't so light, jumping and climbing would be much shorter. It's a real racing monster truck and not a crusher.
More wrc action...
And the action photo Oscar goes to ... Mr. Torquer.
Great quality pictures. Congratulations and a happy new year.
Welcome one and all to the ugly bug'gy ball!
This car was distributed here in Germany by Graupner No. 4888 and cost 340 DM which is about 175 EUR or 220 USD. I guess that Mugen was never active here on their own here in Germany.
New project chassis for clod on trial
Your car has one big advantage: No matter how deep the car will sink into the mud, you'll see at least the yellow and skyscraping body. ;o)
Well done for a home made, mate!
During the assembly of my tt01 subaru I also had mixed feelings about the quality of the chassis. I had the same problems with one thread, but luckily this does not affect the overall performance. It seems like the plastic of the chassis is simply too soft. Anyway, the TT-01 chassis is a great entry level car. Found a cockpit without heads for 3 EUR.
1/18 tlt rockbuster
Thank you for the exact description lik e.g. that the tires have the usual hex drives etc. You are right when you say that this will be popular amongst custom builders. I have a Jeep Wrangler body and soon hopefully a Rockbuster kit, guess what I will do?
Off-road snetterton 2004 in germany
Nice pictures and perfect terrain for some decent offroad driving. That was a great weekend.
Snet '04 - well smart
The first pictures says it all, it must have been bloody cold in Snetterton?!? I like pictures that tell a story and have the so called 'momentum'.
Abandoned ford pick-up
2nd pictures looks so realistic it really looks like somewhere in Iowa. Imagine some chicken picking some grains around the car and a stinking dung-hill nearby....
New built blazing blazer.
Nar van de nackeren een bitje overslag met het bij. ?!? ;o) Sorry, just kidding about the dutch comment.
I also have an electro powered plane which I recently flew in the netherlands. Luckily I had no serious crash, but I can imagine how helpless you must have felt seeing your plane ramming itself into the ground and not being able to stop it.
My dad made a grand job of this one..
Very nice photos with the power station behind. Great work on/with the reflections too.
Mhhm, these tires are very nice - just the real thing with one single rib. Your project is absolutely my cup of tea. Did you see Jimmies (mooplea)sand rail? I like what he did, might give you some inspiration.
Comparison charts for testing rc car performance
Now I know why your reviews are so profound. It's a great idea to use detailed tables. Such tables should become a standard when writing reviews.
