Hello chaps! Well it's been almost a month since my last posting, so it's high time I showed you what I've been upto. Just some teaser shots of my Lancia 037 project, more photos and info to come this weekend.
It's the 1984 Rally de Portugal Martini Works Team entry, driven by Markku 'Maximum Attack' Alen to second place. Pretty much finished, just a few extra things to add. Most of the Decals were home made, (can't you tell? ;) ) printed on a mixture of white or transparent decal paper as needed, having been drawn on Adobe Illustrator as vector images, based on (too much!) photographic research.
I've made inner wheel-arches, fabricated using thin card and then black plasticard to give support and attached 0.20 plasticard mudflaps, so as to enable a 'flapping' action whilst driving. A front splitter was superglued to the front lip of the car also made from plasticard. The exhaust was made from styrene tubes and some wooden beads from a local haberdashery, then sprayed and drilled a little.
As a big Lancia fan and member of the Lancia Motor Club UK, I hope I've done this great car justice. Let me know what you think, any comments good/bad or indifferent are very much appreciated! More to follow...

Cheers guys! @rizzo rat: it will be a runner - just want to finish a few little things then I'm letting rip! It's mounted on a TA03RS with front gearbox and belt removed, so plenty of fishtailing and opposite lock are on the cards, just like the real thing!
