Hi All,
Just got this in a deal with CARRERA (Andy) Its the first 'old' 3 speed and I have to say I'm really pleased with it. Andy agreed a fair price and I'm really looking foward to starting this great project.

I did have to sell my Tamiya Tundra to help fund this new model but all in all I'm very happy.

Think its going to be box art black or maybe red....what do you think??
Anyway I hope you like it,

Cheers
Ian

Ian at last you got one, looks good, its got to be black mate, polish those wheels up paint the lettering on the tires, new decals and you will have one hell of a 3 speed

awesome truck ian. i never wanted this when i was young, but as time went by i have slowly fallen for these. i do however, have a feeling if we do see a re-re of the old 3-speeds in the next year, this will be the first one to come out, and i will be waiting patiently with my credit card .

That's a nice original project, it looks very complete. Looks good in black but if you want to see red there's one in my showroom, although it seems a shame to loose those original decals with a repaint. Do the chassis first, wash and clean the body, maybe touch up the black and see how it looks then ....

What a great truck. If I was you I would not touch the body. Just get that driver out and give him a fresh decent paint and the whole thing will look ace! Oh, btw, tires there are placed backwards. Again, what a great truck!

I'm with Christiaan on this. I hope we see a re re. The paint actually looks pretty good as is but if I have to choose between black and red, I'd go with white.

I too don't mind selling any current model to get hold of the old 3-speed. Your Blazing Blazer is such a beauty Congrats!

Very nice. Cannot go wrong with boxart for the Blazer. Yet to see one that looks better.
